I seem to have ankylosing spondylitis,

A condition that certainly wont delight us.

My spine will become as stiff as a rod,

And I wont be able to bend or nod.

When all is said and done

Life will certainly not be fun,

I’ll be stiff in every part but one,

And, since unable to turn my head,

Will only be able to look ahead.

And, when I do so all I’ll see

Is what is happening to me.

But, there’s a silver lining to this cloud,

‘Cause, when they wrap me in a shroud,

My feet will stick out in the end,

Because me they will be unable to bend.

So that, immediately after ,

I’ll wet myself with laughter.
