THE HAT

25 09 2011

No matter how hard I try,

I cannot remember why,

Masha once turned round to me,

With a sparkle in her eye that I could see,

And said she was proud to be my wife,

And with me to share her life.

She said “I take my hat off to you ,

For what you’ve managed to do.”

“Keep your hat on” I said,

“And take you pants off to me instead.”
